A founder and longtime chairman of Palestine Development and Investment (PADICO), and founder of the Edgo group in oil and water services.

Born in Nablus in 1934, he studied geology in Texas, served as Jordan’s public-works minister, and is known for philanthropic work including the Welfare Association.
