On May 22, 2023, the National Financial Information Center signed two memoranda of understanding with both the Financial Intelligence Processing Unit in the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria and the Special Investigation Commission in the Republic of Lebanon in the field of exchanging information related to money laundering and related predicate offenses and financing.
