Honoring Artist Nagat Al-Saghira with the Cultural Personality of the Year Award in Abu Dhabi

- The 20th edition of the Sheikh Zayed Book Award ceremony in Abu Dhabi witnessed the honoring of the Egyptian artist Nagat Al-Saghira with the Cultural Personality of the Year Award. The Egyptian artist received the award from Sheikh Diab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Court for Development Affairs and Families of Martyrs in the UAE, at a ceremony held at the "ADNEC" center, on the sidelines of the 35th Abu Dhabi International Book Fair.

Emirati artist Ahlam shared a photo with artist Nagat Al-Saghira on her official social media accounts, commenting: "I cannot describe my happiness at meeting such a great artistic figure." The latest appearance of Nagat (88 years old) was during her visit to the headquarters of the "National Media Authority" in the New Administrative Capital of Egypt, in late November 2025, nearly two years after being honored at the "Joy Awards" ceremony in the Saudi capital Riyadh, in late January 2024.
